Our team has worked at the major investment firms on the island and have been responsible for tactical investment management decision making for decades.

Custody services are provided by Pershing, a division of Bank of New York, allowing security of assets and Granaway to focus completely on its core competency which is portfolio management.

Typically investment managers charge 1% and equity mutual funds charge 1.5%.  Granaway charges only .70% and does not receive any other commissions or fees.  The only way we increase our revenue is by growing and protecting client portfolios.  Therefore not only are our services inexpensive they align our interests completely with that of the client.

At Granaway we only invest in liquid, low cost exchange traded funds and individual bonds thus avoiding expensive mutual fund fees.

Unlike other local pension providers that will maintain static asset allocation, at Granaway we are constantly adjusting the portfolio to benefit the employee.  We adjust the overall tactical asset allocation, regional allocation and sectors depending on the market environment.  Therefore you know that Granaway is always on top of the portfolio as opposed to other pension providers where asset management is secondary to their other main business lines such as insurance and healthcare.  At Granaway all we do is manage portfolios.

Granaway is always available to speak to employees about their investments and also are available to come over for any employee presentations.

Granaway has only been able to offer its investment services to high net worth clients over the last 5 years.  However once we teamed up with Freisenbruch we are now able to offer our dynamic low cost investment management services to all Bermudian employees.  Freisenbruch, which is the lowest cost pension administrator on island, has now teamed up with Granaway, the lowest cost tactical investment management firm, thereby providing employees with professional, dynamic pension management at substantial cost savings, so that employees’ pension assets can finally grow with less cumbersome fees.

All portfolio managers are Bermudian and committed to Bermuda.  This means the owners will not see a high turnover in their portfolio managers.
